Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
- Have a strong understanding of legal terminology, legal concepts, and research methodologies.
- Possess excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
- Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show a strong interest in learning and integrating AI into legal editorial workflows.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected Legal Editor will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and editing legal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with editorial standards.
- Ensuring legal content is clear, concise, and accessible to users.
- Conducting quality checks to identify and correct errors in legal data and publications.
- Maintaining editorial standards and ensuring the integrity of legal information products.
- Managing publishing schedules and supporting product enhancements.
- Collaborating with research teams, authors, contributors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Identifying process improvements through operational enhancements, technology automation, and AI integration.
- Supporting content standardization and modernization initiatives.
- Communicating content updates and project milestones with internal stakeholders.
- Assisting Customer Operations with legal content-related queries.
- Monitoring legal developments and industry trends to enhance content quality and relevance.
