Legal Job Opportunity – Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold a BA LL.B. or Master’s degree in Law from a reputed law school.
- Have 7–10 years of relevant legal experience.
- Possess at least 5 years of experience in:
- Contract drafting.
- Commercial contracts.
- Contract negotiation.
- Experience with clients in the U.S. and Canada will be preferred.
- Exposure to the legal aspects of the IT industry will be an added advantage.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Protect the company’s legal interests and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Analyse legal and commercial risks and provide practical legal recommendations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including:
- Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- Alliance Agreements
- License Agreements
- Other commercial contracts relevant to the IT services industry
- Review proposals and assist in preparing responses to tenders and RFPs.
- Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors while ensuring contractual and risk management compliance.
- Advise on general corporate legal and regulatory compliance matters.
- Track changes in laws and regulations affecting the business.
- Provide legal advice to business leaders and executive management.
