Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified lawyer with experience or a strong interest in:
- Data Protection Law
- Technology Law
- Privacy Law
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
- Good project management skills.
- Ability to assess legal risks and provide practical advice.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Prior in-house experience or experience with a reputed law firm is preferred but not mandatory.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of banking secrecy and data protection laws across 13 APAC jurisdictions.
- Advise on:
- Cross-border data transfers
- Data breach notifications
- Privacy and data protection documentation
- Collaborate with Legal, Data Protection Office, and other control functions.
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise on legal compliance.
- Contribute to UBS’s global standards on data protection and client confidentiality.
