Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law from a recognized and accredited law school.
- Be admitted to practice law in India.
- Possess at least 10 years of relevant post-qualification legal experience.
- Additional professional or academic legal qualifications will be considered an advantage.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing strategic and operational legal advice to the Innovative Medicine business in India.
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply, distribution, licensing, clinical trial, employment, non-disclosure, and marketing agreements.
- Advising on legal, governance, compliance, labour law, and regulatory matters.
- Managing litigation and coordinating with external law firms and legal counsel.
- Supporting mergers, acquisitions, licensing transactions, and legal due diligence.
- Advising business teams on product labelling, marketing, ethical promotion, and healthcare compliance.
- Handling intellectual property matters, including trademark and patent coordination.
- Providing legal support to Human Resources, Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Research & Development, Government Affairs, and Quality functions.
- Conducting legal risk assessments, compliance training, and policy implementation.
- Supporting brand protection initiatives, trademark enforcement, and anti-counterfeiting activities.

Required Skills
Candidates should possess:
- Excellent legal drafting and contract negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, labour, litigation, compliance, and regulatory laws.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
