Position
- Legal Counsel – Expansion
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. or LL.M. degree (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience:
- In an external law firm or
- As in-house legal counsel
- Core experience in Real Estate Law
- Working knowledge of employment law, company law, and general contract law will be an added advantage
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Negotiation, drafting, and review of lease deeds, property documents, and commercial contracts
- Legal due diligence of expansion and real estate projects
- Risk assessment and mitigation through legal structuring and regulatory clearances
- Liaison with statutory, regulatory, government, and judicial authorities for approvals
- Negotiation, execution, and registration of contracts, including stamp duty compliance
- Oversight of litigation management, legal notices, and breach-related actions
- Monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring organizational compliance
- Supporting and collaborating with Expansion teams, Lease Managers, and internal legal stakeholders
