Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Providing first-level support on client legal projects.
- Reviewing and analyzing legal fee and expense invoices submitted by law firms.
- Identifying compliance and non-compliance with client billing guidelines and policies.
- Analyzing the time spent by legal and paralegal professionals on various legal tasks.
- Identifying discrepancies or issues in the amounts billed by legal staff.
- Reviewing billing descriptions and narratives across different stages of litigation, including:
- Case assessment, development, and administration.
- Pre-trial pleadings and motions.
- Discovery.
- Trial preparation and trial.
- Appeals.
- Regulatory matters.
