Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold an LL.B. degree from a recognized institution.
- Preferably be enrolled with the Bar Council.
- Have 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in legal roles with significant exposure to real estate matters.
- Possess strong knowledge of:
- Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA)
- Transfer of Property Act
- Rent Control Act
- Stamp Duty laws
- Arbitration and dispute resolution
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Be proficient in legal research tools and MS Office.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support across all entities of the Multicon Group, with a primary focus on real estate.
- Conduct legal research on property laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Advise on contracts, property acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and vet:
- Sale deeds
- Lease agreements
- Conveyance deeds
- Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs)
- Joint Venture Agreements
- Conduct property due diligence, including title verification and compliance assessments.
- Prepare legal risk assessment reports.
- Coordinate with external counsel on litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings.
- Draft legal notices, petitions, and responses.
- Manage filings before courts, tribunals, and statutory authorities.
- Provide legal advisory support to the Group’s businesses across multiple sectors.
- Maintain legal records relating to contracts, property documentation, and ongoing litigation.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the Group’s businesses.
