Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Have 2–6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Possess meaningful experience in TMT (Technology, Media & Telecommunications) or technology-related legal practice.
- Have strong knowledge of:
- Data Protection and Privacy Laws
- Information Technology Laws
- Artificial Intelligence Governance
- E-commerce Laws
- Media and Telecommunications Laws
- Global and Indian data privacy regimes
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Associates will work on matters involving:
- Data Protection and Privacy
- Information Technology Law and Rules
- Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies
- FinTech and Digital Payments
- Telecommunications and Licensing
- Media, Content and Intellectual Property Transactions
- Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs
- Corporate and Commercial Advisory
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising clients on regulatory compliance relating to IT, ITeS, AI, cloud computing, consumer protection, telecom, digital media, and data privacy.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and technology agreements.
- Monitoring and analysing regulatory and policy developments issued by authorities such as MeitY, MIB, I4C, telecom regulators, and the Data Protection Board of India.
- Supporting policy advocacy and government affairs initiatives.
- Researching Indian and international developments relating to AI regulation, ethical AI, algorithmic transparency, and regulatory sandbox frameworks.
- Preparing client alerts, legal updates, internal knowledge materials, and training resources.
- Delivering commercially practical legal advice on complex technology and regulatory issues.
