Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a reputed university.
- Enrolment with the Bar.
- 2–5 years of relevant legal experience (preferably a combination of law firm and in-house experience).
- Strong understanding of Indian corporate and commercial laws.
- Experience in regulatory advisory, compliance, or transactional support is preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, and research abilities.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance legal risks and business objectives.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Regulatory & Advisory Support
- Conduct legal research and analysis on Indian corporate, commercial, employment, licensing, and sector-specific laws.
- Support regulatory interpretation and compliance assessments.
- Draft legal opinions, regulatory memoranda, and advisory reports.
- Monitor regulatory developments and provide updates to clients and internal teams.
Corporate & Commercial Matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including:
- Service Agreements
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Partnership Agreements
- Vendor Agreements
- Assist with company incorporation, corporate structuring, licensing, and regulatory compliance.
- Support legal due diligence for transactions and investment projects.
- Liaise with regulators, government authorities, and external counsel.
Dispute Management
- Support dispute-related matters by coordinating with internal stakeholders, external counsel, counterparties, and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in internal investigations and preparation of dispute-related documentation.
Regional & Cross-Border Coordination
- Support cross-border legal projects involving multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with regional legal teams.
- Help standardize legal templates, compliance frameworks, and risk management processes.
Internal Governance & Risk
- Support internal governance, compliance, and risk management initiatives.
- Maintain legal documentation and records.
- Develop and improve internal legal templates and best practices.
