Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of legal experience, particularly in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, negotiate, and amend agreements and other legal documents.
- Support SHIELD’s global business teams by providing legal advice and services.
- Develop and improve legal templates in collaboration with attorneys and external law firms.
- Ensure legal templates comply with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Draft, review, and negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
- Advise on GDPR and data protection compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintain and organize contract repositories, legal records, and policy documentation.
- Conduct legal research and assist with legal projects.
- Monitor legal developments and keep internal stakeholders informed of relevant changes in law.
- Perform additional legal and compliance-related tasks as assigned.
