Position: Legal Associate
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Legal Review & Risk Adjudication
- Conduct end-to-end review of profiles flagged with criminal and civil court records.
- Provide structured, accurate, and legally defensible opinions on reviewed cases.
- Handle complex, high-risk, and escalated matters as the final decision-making authority.
- Ensure consistency in legal interpretation, case tagging, and documentation practices.
- Assess legal risks and support informed decision-making processes.
Governance & Compliance
- Maintain audit-ready legal documentation in accordance with regulatory and client requirements.
- Minimize rework, exception rates, and audit observations through effective review mechanisms.
- Develop, implement, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and decision-making frameworks.
- Support compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to internal governance standards.
