Position: Lawyer on Secondment (Education Sector)
Role Type: Full-Time Secondment
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 5 Years Post Qualification Experience (PQE)
- Proven experience advising educational institutions such as schools, universities, education trusts, or ed-tech entities
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected lawyer will be responsible for:
- Advising on contracts including MoUs, affiliation and collaboration agreements, service and vendor contracts, lease and procurement agreements
- Handling regulatory and compliance matters under state education laws
- Familiarity with UGC, AICTE, and CBSE norms will be an added advantage
- Drafting and reviewing internal policies, SOPs, and handling PoSH and student/HR-related matters
- Coordinating litigation with external counsel
- Managing stakeholders and providing strategic legal advisory
