About the Organization
Security Sector Skill Council is a sector skill council focused on training and capacity building in the security industry. In collaboration with Cyberabad Police, it has launched a specialized internship program for law students interested in criminal law, litigation, cybercrime, and forensic investigation.

Legal Internship Opportunity
Eligibility Criteria
- Law students interested in criminal law and litigation
- Preference for students based in or able to attend the program in Hyderabad
Areas of Work / Core Learning Modules
Module A: Police Operational Mechanics
- First Information Report (FIR) lifecycle
- Station management and police hierarchy
- Evidence integrity and chain of custody
Module B: Investigative Depth and Forensics
- Case file construction and charge sheet preparation
- Exposure to cyber labs and forensic tools
- Statement recording under BNSS/CrPC
Module C: The Judicial Interface
- Court craft and trial observation
- Remand and bail proceedings
- Judicial documentation, including remand applications and search warrants
Additional Exposure
- Cybercrime investigations
- Corporate security frameworks
- Real-time movement of a criminal case through the legal system
