Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Be currently pursuing an LL.B. degree or an equivalent law programme; or
- Be a recent law graduate.
- Possess a strong understanding of core legal principles relating to civil, criminal, or commercial law.
- Have good legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple assignments.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site legal environment.
- Knowledge of legal research tools and standard office software will be an added advantage.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and case law analysis.
- Prepare legal notes, briefs, and case summaries.
- Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, notices, and agreements.
- Assist in preparing documentation for client meetings and court proceedings.
- Organize and maintain case files, records, and timelines.
- Support senior attorneys in identifying legal issues and developing legal strategies.
- Attend meetings and court hearings, where required.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all assignments.
