Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. It functions as a think tank and centre of excellence, focusing on corporate law, governance, policy, ESG, insolvency, and allied areas to support the growth of India’s corporate sector.

Eligibility Criteria
- Students pursuing:
- 3-year or 5-year LLB (final year preferred)
- UG/PG courses in social sciences, management, finance, IT, public policy, etc.
- Professional courses like CA, CS, CWA
- Young professionals who have completed studies within the last 6 months and are not employed
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Research and assistance in areas such as:
- Corporate Law and Governance
- Competition Law and Market Regulation
- CSR, ESG, and Sustainability
- Insolvency and Bankruptcy
- Public Policy and Corporate Finance
- AI Governance, IT, and Business & Human Rights
Mode of Work
- Hybrid mode (subject to approval by the authority)
Important Dates and Timelines
- Duration: Minimum 1 month to maximum 6 months
- Internship may begin on any day of a calendar month depending on requirements
Stipend / Perks
- Honorarium: ₹10,000 per month
- If accommodation is provided, consolidated stipend of ₹5,000 per month
- Certificate upon successful completion
- Opportunity for publication of high-quality research work

Selection Procedure
- Applications are reviewed by the Internal Selection Committee (ISC)
- Selection based on:
- Academic background
- Research proposal
- Institutional requirements
- May include interview for specific internship cycles
Important Notes / Additional Information
- Limited intake: 10–15 interns per month
- No guarantee of employment after internship
- Interns must submit reports and presentations at the end of the internship
- Strict adherence to confidentiality and institutional discipline is required
