About the Organization
The Indian Army has invited online applications from eligible unmarried male and female law graduates for the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Entry Scheme 125th Course commencing in April 2027. Selected candidates will be granted a Short Service Commission in the JAG Branch after successful completion of training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria
- Unmarried Male and Unmarried Female Law Graduates.
- Age: 21 to 27 years as on 01 January 2027 (Born between 02 January 2000 and 01 January 2006, both dates inclusive).
- Minimum 55% aggregate marks in LL.B. (3-year or 5-year course).
- Must have appeared for CLAT PG 2026 (conducted in December 2025).
- Candidates must be eligible for registration as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India/State Bar Council.
- Degree must be from a Bar Council of India-recognized institution.

Stipend / Salary / Perks
- Training Stipend: ₹56,100 per month.
- Rank on Commissioning: Lieutenant.
- Approximate Annual CTC on Commissioning: ₹17–18 Lakhs.
- Short Service Commission up to 14 years with an option to be considered for Permanent Commission after 10 years, subject to eligibility and policy.
