Full-Time Legal Internship
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates currently pursuing or who have recently completed an LL.B. or integrated law degree.
- Strong understanding of basic legal principles and commercial matters.
- Interest in corporate law, debt recovery, dispute resolution, and commercial litigation.
- Good legal research, drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to draft legal notices, agreements, case summaries, and reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in standard office applications and legal research tools.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Bengaluru.
- Previous internship experience in litigation, corporate law, dispute resolution, or debt recovery will be an added advantage.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on debt recovery, commercial transactions, and dispute resolution laws.
- Draft and review legal notices, agreements, reports, case summaries, and other legal documents.
- Analyze client records and supporting documents to identify legal issues.
- Assist in case preparation, documentation, and follow-up activities.
- Prepare legal research notes, summaries, and internal reports.
- Maintain physical and digital legal records and case files.
- Coordinate with internal teams to obtain information and clarify legal positions.
- Assist in compliance reviews and documentation checks.
- Support professional communication with clients, advocates, and external stakeholders.
- Provide basic legal analysis and advisory support under the supervision of the legal team.
Areas of Exposure
During the internship, candidates will gain practical exposure to:
- Corporate debt recovery.
- Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
- Mediation and Pre-Institution Mediation.
- Commercial summary suits.
- Proceedings under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
- Commercial litigation and recovery procedures.
