Position: Data Privacy & Compliance Intern
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be:
- Law students in the 3rd to 5th year of their programme or recent law graduates.
- Students pursuing studies in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk & Compliance, or related disciplines.
- Interested in Data Privacy, Regulatory Compliance, Cyber Law, or Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC).
- Equipped with strong research, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Possessing excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Interns will be involved in:
- Assisting in the development and review of privacy policies, procedures, notices, and related documentation.
- Supporting Data Mapping and Data Flow Analysis exercises.
- Preparing and maintaining Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
- Assisting in Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
- Conducting legal and regulatory research on the DPDP Act, GDPR, ISO 27701, and other privacy frameworks.
- Supporting vendor and third-party privacy compliance assessments.
- Gathering and analyzing compliance-related evidence and documentation.
- Coordinating with stakeholders for project execution and data collection.
- Preparing reports, trackers, presentations, and compliance documents.
- Assisting consultants on ongoing privacy and compliance engagements.

Location: Delhi

- Duration: 2–6 Months
- Extension: Internship may be extended based on performance.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of the DPDP Act, GDPR, or other privacy regulations.
- Knowledge of data protection principles and privacy frameworks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
