The role offers exposure to corporate governance, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, employment law, intellectual property, and legal risk management in a dynamic business environment.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Admission to practise law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum five years of post-qualification experience in corporate, commercial, or in-house legal practice.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Commercial contracts and negotiations.
- Corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
- Employment and labour law.
- FEMA compliance, including FDI, ODI, ECB, RBI reporting, and cross-border transactions.
- Goods and Services Tax (GST) advisory relating to procurement, manufacturing, exports of services, reverse charge mechanisms, and foreign transactions.
- Transfer pricing provisions, arm’s length compliance, and Form 3CEB coordination.
- Strong commercial judgment, organisational skills, integrity, and attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience advising multinational or multi-jurisdictional organisations.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, data privacy, and corporate governance.
- Experience managing external legal counsel and cross-functional stakeholders.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Corporate Governance & Compliance
- Advise on corporate governance, statutory compliance, board governance, shareholder matters, and corporate records.
- Draft and maintain governance documents, board resolutions, policies, and minutes.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and recommend compliance measures.
Commercial Contracts & Legal Advisory
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements, including supplier, consultancy, licensing, partnership, service, confidentiality, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Identify legal and commercial risks while providing practical business-focused legal advice.
- Develop legal templates, precedents, and contracting processes.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
- Manage litigation, arbitration, regulatory proceedings, and dispute resolution.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel.
- Advise leadership on litigation strategy, settlements, and legal risk mitigation.
Corporate Transactions
- Lead and support legal due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, investments, and strategic transactions.
- Coordinate transaction documentation and regulatory compliance.
Employment & Workforce Advisory
- Advise management and HR on employment contracts, workplace disputes, employee relations, and labour law compliance.
Intellectual Property Management
- Advise on intellectual property protection, registration, licensing, enforcement, and portfolio management.
- Draft and review IP-related agreements.
Strategic Legal Advisory
- Serve as the principal legal adviser to executive leadership.
- Support strategic business initiatives with commercially practical legal advice.
- Build scalable legal processes and governance frameworks.

Salary & Benefits
Remuneration
- Compensation: Up to ₹15,00,000 per annum (depending on experience and current remuneration).
