Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications (Legal Stream)
Applicants must possess:
- LL.B. or LL.M.
- Postgraduate Diploma in any legal subject
Experience Requirement
- Young Professional: Minimum 1 year of work experience
- Associate: Minimum 3 years of work experience
- Consultant: Minimum 8 years of work experience
- Senior Consultant: Minimum 15 years of work experience
Age Limit
- Young Professional: Up to 35 years
- Associate: Up to 45 years
- Consultant: Up to 50 years
- Senior Consultant: Up to 65 years
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates may work on:
- Legal research and policy support
- Trade and commerce-related legal matters
- Drafting and analysis of legal documents

Working hours are generally from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM on working days, with additional work on weekends and holidays if required.

Stipend / Remuneration
Selected candidates will receive consolidated monthly remuneration as per the Department of Commerce guidelines, subject to applicable deductions such as TDS and Professional Tax.
Selection Procedure
- Applications will be shortlisted.
- Up to three times the number of vacancies in each stream/position will be called for interviews.

Important Notes / Additional Information
- The engagement is purely temporary and contractual.
- Young Professionals are initially appointed for two years, extendable by one additional year.
- Selected candidates must submit police verification and a medical fitness certificate before joining.
- The Department may terminate the engagement with 30 days’ notice.
- This engagement does not create any right to regular government employment.
