Associate – GST & Income Tax (2 Vacancies)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be Law Graduates (LL.B.).
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience handling GST and Income Tax matters with a reputed law firm, CA firm, or CS firm.
- Possess practical experience in tax compliance and litigation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- LL.B. with CA, CS, or LL.M. qualification.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and filing GST returns, including:
- GSTR-1
- GSTR-3B
- GSTR-9
- Conducting Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliations (2A/2B).
- Assisting in GST audits and compliance reviews.
- Drafting replies and representations to tax notices.
- Conducting GST health checks and compliance assessments.
- Handling Income Tax compliances and reporting requirements.
- Managing TDS returns and related filings.
- Assisting in Tax Audits.
- Supporting GST and Income Tax litigation before tribunals and other authorities.
- Mentoring junior team members within the firm.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong drafting and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of GST and Income Tax laws and procedures.
- Experience in tax compliance and litigation matters.
