Position: Associate (General Corporate, M&A and Regulatory)
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Experience must be in one or more of the following areas:
- Corporate advisory
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Commercial agreement drafting
- Financial regulatory compliance
- Candidates with experience primarily in litigation, arbitration, or dispute resolution are not eligible for this role.
- Freshers are not eligible to apply.
- Prior exposure to financial services regulation will be an added advantage.
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to building expertise in a specialist corporate and regulatory practice.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Selected Associates will be involved in:
- Drafting Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs)
- Drafting Shareholders’ Agreements and Term Sheets
- Conducting due diligence exercises for regulated entities
- Researching issues relating to:
- RBI regulations
- FEMA compliance
- SEBI regulations
- Companies Act provisions
- Assisting in the execution and closing of corporate transactions
- Advising on fintech and financial services regulations
- Working on M&A, commercial, and regulatory matters with direct client interaction
