Position: Associate Corporate Counsel
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university in India.
- Associate Member (ACS) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with a valid membership.
- Minimum 3 years of legal experience.
- Experience as a practicing lawyer or in-house counsel with primary responsibility for client advisory, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Strong understanding of corporate advisory, regulatory compliance, and commercial transactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in both a corporate law firm and an in-house legal role.
- Exposure to corporate advisory, commercial contracting, and compliance matters.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice on intellectual property, digital media, e-commerce marketplace operations, company secretarial matters, and regulatory compliance.
- Advising business teams on legal and compliance-related issues.
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a broad range of commercial agreements, including:
- Procurement Contracts
- Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- Sales Agreements
- Advertising Agreements
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Handling pre-litigation disputes, legal inquiries, and commercial relationship issues.
- Reviewing business initiatives and developing terms and conditions for programs and services.
- Reviewing and approving promotional materials and advertisements across print and digital platforms.
- Assessing business processes, identifying legal risks, and supporting operational excellence.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and management on complex legal projects and transactions.
