Corporate Legal Job Opportunity (Fixed-Term Contract)
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. from a recognized Indian university
- Associate Membership (ACS) with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with valid membership
- Minimum 3 years of legal experience
- Experience across corporate law firms and in-house legal roles
- Prior experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal compliance review
- Experience interpreting and applying Indian laws in a business context
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Acting as both legal counsel and company secretary for AWS India operations
- Providing strategic legal guidance to sales, marketing, product, and cross-functional teams
- Managing corporate governance, board meetings, resolutions, and statutory records
- Overseeing regulatory and corporate filings
- Ensuring compliance with the Companies Act and other applicable Indian laws
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-growth technology company
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, telecommunications, or outsourcing
- Understanding of intellectual property, competition law, and data privacy issues
