Position: Associate Compliance – Regulatory Relationship
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Postgraduate degree (MBA) preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in compliance and regulatory affairs within the banking or financial services sector.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and government agencies.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory developments affecting the banking sector.
- Advise internal stakeholders on the impact of regulatory changes.
- Conduct compliance audits and reviews to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to strengthen regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Provide compliance guidance and support to business units.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports, filings, and disclosures within prescribed timelines.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing compliance training programs.
- Respond to regulatory inspections, audits, and inquiries.
- Conduct investigations relating to compliance issues.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across business functions.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of:
- Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines
- SEBI regulations
- FEMA regulations
- Banking and financial services compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and risk awareness.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and related software applications.
- Professional certifications in compliance or regulatory affairs will be an added advantage.
