Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, International Trade, Public Policy, Law, Management, or a related discipline.
- A postgraduate degree or diploma in Economics, International Trade, Public Policy, or related fields will be preferred.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in trade policy, economic research, consulting, taxation, public policy, or industry associations.
- Fresh graduates with strong analytical and research skills are also encouraged to apply.
- Excellent research, analytical, drafting, communication, and coordination skills.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Conducting research and policy analysis relating to trade, taxation, manufacturing competitiveness, and the electronics sector.
- Tracking policy developments, government notifications, and regulatory changes affecting the industry.
- Preparing policy notes, briefing papers, consultation responses, presentations, meeting notes, and official submissions.
- Analysing industry data to support evidence-based policy recommendations.
- Assisting in stakeholder engagement with ministries, government departments, regulatory authorities, and industry representatives.
- Supporting the organisation of industry consultations, webinars, roundtables, and stakeholder meetings.
- Preparing agendas, minutes, follow-up reports, member briefings, and communication materials.
