Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.).
- Be enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- Have 3+ years of legal experience, preferably with banks, NBFCs, or recovery law firms.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of:
- SARFAESI Act
- Negotiable Instruments Act (NI Act)
- Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) Act
- Code of Civil Procedure (CPC)
- Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC)
- RBI regulations and compliance norms
- Have strong legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Be willing to travel for court hearings and property possession drives.
- Be proficient in maintaining case MIS, legal dashboards, and internal reporting.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Handle matters relating to SARFAESI proceedings and banking litigation.
- Manage cheque bounce cases under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
- Draft legal notices, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal support.
- Ensure compliance with applicable banking and regulatory laws.
- Maintain case management systems, legal dashboards, and reports.
- Attend court hearings and assist in property possession proceedings.
