The role is designed for experienced legal professionals with expertise in digital banking, fintech, and banking regulations. The selected candidate will support the Bank’s digital banking operations by advising on legal, regulatory, and commercial matters while working closely with business and technology teams.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold an LL.B. degree from a reputed law college or university in India.
- Have 4–10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Possess prior work experience with a scheduled commercial bank or financial institution handling legal matters related to digital banking or allied portfolios.
- Be well-versed with statutory, regulatory, and network guidelines relating to:
- Digital Banking
- Payment Aggregation
- IT Outsourcing
- Financial Services Regulations
- Have a sound understanding of the legal, operational, and technological framework governing digital banking products and services.
- Certifications in Digital Banking, Financial Technology, or related fields from reputed institutions will be preferred.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Draft, negotiate, review, and advise on commercial agreements, including:
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
- SaaS Agreements
- Software Licence Agreements
- Technology and FinTech Partner Agreements
- Vet product notes, operational processes, internal policies, and terms & conditions relating to digital banking products and services.
- Analyse legal, statutory, and regulatory compliance issues and provide practical legal advice to business teams.
- Coordinate with external legal counsels and internal stakeholders on legal assignments.
- Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry guidelines relevant to the Bank’s business and ensure timely legal updates.
