Legal Job Opportunity – Legal Associate
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold an LL.B. degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Possess strong knowledge of law, legal research, and regulatory compliance.
- Have prior internship or work experience in a law firm or investment-focused legal practice.
- Demonstrate excellent legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates with experience or knowledge of venture capital transactions, startup governance, regulatory filings, and compliance for Indian entities will be preferred.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and corporate documents.
- Preparing compliance-related documentation for startups and investment entities.
- Conducting legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Identifying legal issues and preparing legal opinions and advisory memoranda.
- Assisting in due diligence exercises.
- Supporting the design and implementation of compliance frameworks.
- Coordinating with clients to understand their business objectives and risk appetite.
- Collaborating with senior team members on legal matters.
- Participating in internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Maintaining documentation and matter files.
