Legal Job Opportunity – Associate Legal Counsel
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Have 2–4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial contracts.
- Be admitted to practice in India or another common law jurisdiction.
- Possess substantial experience in vendor/procurement contracting and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Have strong contract drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Be capable of working independently in a fast-paced, global business environment.
Highly Desirable
- Prior in-house legal experience in a technology, Cloud, or SaaS company.
- Experience independently managing a high volume of vendor agreements and NDAs.
- Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms or legal workflow tools.
- Exposure to AI tools for contract drafting and review.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vendor and procurement agreements.
- Preparing and negotiating mutual, unilateral, and vendor-specific NDAs.
- Advising business teams on contractual and legal risks.
- Collaborating with Procurement, IT, Security, and other internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining and updating contract templates, playbooks, and standard agreements.
- Reviewing commercial contracts and providing practical, risk-based legal advice.
- Supporting customer contract negotiations alongside senior legal professionals.
- Assisting with RFx responses and submissions.
- Managing multiple legal transactions under strict timelines.
- Supporting legal operations, contract tracking, approvals, execution, and reporting.
- Contributing to legal process improvements and the administration of Sirion’s CLM platform.
