Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized institution.
- Have 5+ years of experience in document drafting.
- Possess strong legal drafting skills involving contracts, agreements, property documents, and compliance-related documentation.
- Be proficient in legal research, statutory interpretation, and the application of relevant laws.
- Have excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Be proficient in standard office software and document management tools.
- Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and commitment to client confidentiality.
- Be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate with clients.
- Enrollment with the Bar Council will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience or internships in legal drafting or documentation at a law firm or legal department are preferred.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing, and refining contracts, agreements, property documents, and compliance-related legal instruments.
- Conducting legal research and ensuring documents comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinating with senior lawyers on legal strategies.
- Maintaining document templates and systematic records of drafts and revisions.
- Communicating with clients to obtain information and clarify drafting requirements.
- Ensuring adherence to the firm’s quality standards and confidentiality protocols.
