Candidates may work remotely from anywhere in India. Applicants based in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, or Ahmedabad are also eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold an LL.B. degree with enrolment as an Advocate or possess an equivalent legal qualification.
- Have 4–8 years of post-qualification experience in commercial or corporate law.
- Possess strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate excellent written and spoken English communication.
- Have a reliable remote working setup.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- In-house legal experience in a technology, SaaS, or product-based company.
- Exposure to cross-border or US commercial agreements.
- Familiarity with data protection laws and frameworks such as the GDPR and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) framework.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer, vendor, and partner agreements.
- Advising on commercial contracts, intellectual property, data privacy, product, and licensing matters.
- Developing and maintaining contract templates, legal playbooks, and documentation standards.
- Providing day-to-day legal advice to sales, product, finance, and other business teams.
- Identifying legal and regulatory risks and recommending practical business-oriented solutions.
- Supporting commercial and corporate legal matters while enabling business growth.
