Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Be currently pursuing or have recently completed an LL.B. or equivalent law degree.
- Possess a strong foundational understanding of law and legal issue analysis.
- Be capable of assisting in legal consulting and client advisory work under supervision.
- Have skills in drafting, reviewing, and formatting legal documents.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Be proficient in legal research tools and basic MS Office applications.
- Exhibit integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Be fluent in English. Knowledge of Hindi and familiarity with local court practices will be an added advantage.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected intern will be responsible for:
- Conducting legal research on statutes, case law, and regulatory frameworks.
- Drafting, reviewing, and formatting legal documents.
- Preparing case summaries and legal research notes.
- Organizing and maintaining case files and related documentation.
- Assisting advocates in analyzing legal issues.
- Preparing notes for client consultations.
- Supporting advocates during client meetings and court hearings.
- Maintaining confidentiality and completing assigned tasks within timelines.
