Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- LL.B. from a recognized law school in India.
Experience
- 1–2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in a startup, reg-tech, fintech, banking, or multinational company environment is preferred.
- Strong background in commercial and employment law.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, data protection agreements, reseller agreements, partnership contracts, vendor agreements, and employment-related documents.
- Providing practical, business-oriented legal advice on operational matters, contract structuring, and legal risk mitigation.
- Advising on employment law, intellectual property, and product-related legal issues.
- Coordinating with external legal counsel and managing internal legal workflows.
- Maintaining contract repositories, legal trackers, MIS, and documentation systems.
- Conducting legal research on evolving laws and regulatory developments affecting the business.
- Participating in cross-functional legal projects and strategic initiatives.
- Identifying opportunities to improve legal processes and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, redlining, and legal risk assessment skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
