Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- LL.B. / B.A. LL.B. from a Tier-1 law school (NLUs or other reputed institutions).
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Prior startup experience is preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to technology, SaaS, AI, or B2B enterprise contracts.
- Familiarity with intellectual property and patent processes in a deep-tech or product company.
- Experience supporting fundraising or M&A legal due diligence.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Drafting and issuing legal notices, demand letters, and responses.
- Managing the complete lifecycle of commercial contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, vendor, partner, employment, and consultancy agreements.
- Filing, managing, and monitoring the company’s patent portfolio in coordination with patent professionals.
- Supporting legal due diligence for fundraising, partnerships, and customer/vendor onboarding.
- Advising internal teams on legal, commercial, and compliance matters.
- Ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance while supporting corporate governance and secretarial functions.
- Managing litigation and pre-litigation matters in coordination with external counsel.
- Developing legal templates, playbooks, and scalable legal processes.
- Assisting founders and business teams on strategic cross-functional initiatives.

- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Sound commercial judgment with practical problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong ownership mindset and willingness to manage end-to-end legal functions.
