Position: Paralegal – FinTech Regulatory Team
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Be in the 5th year of a BA LL.B. (Hons.) programme or be a recent law graduate.
- Be a fresher or final-year law student.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Have strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrate the ability to interpret legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Have experience or a strong interest in fintech regulations, including RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, and PFRDA regulatory frameworks.
- Preferably possess experience in drafting and negotiating agreements with minimal supervision.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be involved in:
- Advising clients on structuring fintech products.
- Translating regulatory developments into practical business and product strategies.
- Conducting regulatory due diligence for investments, acquisitions, and fintech transactions.
- Advising on digital lending, digital payments, wealth management, and insurance technology matters.
- Reviewing technology licensing agreements for financial institutions and financial service providers.
- Managing client deliverables and maintaining client communications.
- Ensuring timely billing and compliance with internal protocols.
- Supporting the team in additional assignments and regulatory advisory work.
