Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Be currently enrolled in or have recently completed an LL.B. or integrated law degree program from a recognized institution.
- Possess a solid understanding of legal principles relating to civil, criminal, corporate, and family law matters.
- Have strong legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
- Demonstrate integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Be capable of managing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines effectively.
- Show a keen interest in litigation, corporate law, and startup advisory work.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected intern will be involved in:
- Conducting legal research and case law analysis.
- Assisting advocates in preparing briefs, petitions, written statements, and court documents.
- Reviewing case files and organizing legal documentation and evidence.
- Preparing summaries, notes, and hearing briefs.
- Drafting and vetting contracts, legal notices, and legal opinions under supervision.
- Supporting matters involving startups and corporate clients.
- Attending client meetings and court proceedings.
- Maintaining case calendars and tracking important dates.
- Coordinating communication with clients and external stakeholders.
