Position: Legal Associate – Contracts
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold an LL.B. degree from a reputed institution.
- Have 3–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Preferably possess experience as an in-house corporate counsel or in a corporate legal environment.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have strong contract negotiation abilities.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating commercial contracts independently or in coordination with stakeholders.
- Handling agreements such as:
- SaaS Agreements
- Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Amendments
- Change Orders
- Other commercial contracts
- Securing commercially favorable contractual positions for clients.
- Conducting quality checks and ensuring high standards in process delivery.
- Managing end-to-end contract lifecycle management processes.
- Recording and maintaining executed agreements within contract databases.
- Managing contract renewals, extensions, renegotiations, amendments, and terminations.
- Assisting clients in implementing privacy and data protection compliance frameworks.
- Working on global regulatory requirements, including:
- GDPR
- COPPA
- Other international privacy and data protection regulations
- Supporting clients in developing and sustaining efficient legal and compliance processes.
