Internship Opportunity
Position: Due Diligence Intern
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science; or
- Be currently pursuing a relevant undergraduate program from a recognized university in India.
- Demonstrate an interest in due diligence investigations, research methodologies, and risk assessment.
- Possess strong analytical and research skills with keen attention to detail.
- Have effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (preferred).
- Be capable of working collaboratively in a team environment and managing tasks efficiently.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Selected interns will:
- Conduct public-record due diligence investigations on individuals and entities for investment and lending purposes.
- Verify identities and identify aliases using third-party resources.
- Review, analyze, and summarize legal documents, including liens, judgments, bankruptcies, criminal records, complaints, and other public records.
- Research social media profiles, adverse news, and online presence.
- Prepare detailed investigative reports for clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of findings.
- Coordinate with customer success teams regarding deliverables and timelines.
- Liaise with third-party service providers for document retrieval and additional research.
- Perform other assigned due diligence and investigative tasks.
