Position: Legal & Contract Operations Associate

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • LL.B. qualification is mandatory.
  • 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Prior experience in an IT, technology, consultancy, or professional services environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and Indian labour laws.
  • Experience in legal operations, HR compliance, procurement governance, or administrative compliance functions.
  • Excellent drafting, documentation, and contract review skills.

Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities

Legal & Contract Management

  • Draft, review, and manage:
    • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
    • Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
    • Statements of Work (SOWs)
    • SaaS Agreements
    • Vendor Contracts
    • Procurement Agreements
  • Support commercial contract negotiations.
  • Maintain contract repositories and renewal trackers.
  • Ensure legal review and vetting before vendor onboarding.
  • Assist in trademark and brand protection activities.

Corporate & Regulatory Compliance

  • Support compliance with Companies Act requirements, IT regulations, and internal governance policies.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and Company Secretaries.
  • Maintain statutory registers, corporate records, and compliance documentation.
  • Track legal notices, correspondence, and dispute-related matters.

HR & Labour Law Compliance

  • Draft and review:
    • Offer Letters
    • Appointment Letters
    • Employment Agreements
    • Exit Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws.
  • Draft and update HR policies including:
    • POSH Policy
    • Code of Conduct
    • Leave Policies
    • Remote Work Policies
  • Prepare warning letters, disciplinary notices, and show-cause notices.
  • Support POSH compliance documentation and record maintenance.

Procurement & Administrative Legal Support

  • Review procurement contracts and vendor SLAs.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for vendor onboarding.
  • Assist in contractual risk mitigation.
  • Support internal compliance audits and documentation requirements.
