Position: Principal Associate / Associate Partner – Corporate & M&A (Transactions)
Location: Delhi
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess:
- A five-year integrated law degree from a reputed university with a strong academic record.
- An LL.M., CA, or CS qualification will be considered an added advantage.
- 4–9 years of experience in the corporate practice of a reputed law firm.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be involved in:
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Private Equity Investments
- Venture Capital Funding Transactions
- Joint Ventures
- Corporate Commercial Transactions
- Strategic Corporate Transactions
- Advisory on corporate, regulatory, and sector-specific laws
- Compliance-related advisory work
- Managing transactions independently from inception to closure
- Client interaction and relationship management
- Mentoring and training junior associates
- Legal research, knowledge management, and article writing
- Business development initiatives
Key Skills Required
- Strong transactional experience in corporate and M&A matters.
- In-depth understanding of:
- Indian Contract Act, 1872
- Companies Act, 2013
- Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999
- Competition Act, 2002
- SEBI Regulations
- RBI Regulations
- Industrial and Labour Laws
