Internship Opportunity (Legal & Strategic Acquisitions Internship)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be:
- Final-year or pre-final-year students pursuing LL.B., B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., B.L.S. LL.B., or equivalent integrated law programmes
- Recent law graduates
- Interested in Real Estate Law, Property Law, Land Acquisition, Redevelopment, Infrastructure, Urban Development, and Commercial Transactions
Preferred Skills
- Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with legal research platforms and databases
- Understanding of property laws, title due diligence, land records, redevelopment processes, and statutory approvals
- Prior internship experience in real estate, litigation, conveyancing, infrastructure, corporate law, or transaction advisory will be an advantage
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Legal Due Diligence & Documentation
- Conduct legal research on real estate laws, redevelopment regulations, land acquisition laws, municipal regulations, and statutory compliances
- Review and analyse title documents, property records, development agreements, approvals, litigation records, and revenue documents
- Assist in legal due diligence and identify title risks, encumbrances, litigation exposure, and compliance issues
- Prepare legal opinions, due diligence reports, title summaries, risk assessment notes, and transaction briefs
- Assist in drafting and reviewing MOUs, NDAs, Letters of Intent (LOIs), term sheets, agreements, legal notices, and commercial documentation
Acquisitions & Transaction Support
- Evaluate redevelopment and land acquisition opportunities from legal and commercial perspectives
- Prepare acquisition notes, feasibility reports, project evaluation reports, and transaction briefs
- Support transaction structuring, commercial negotiations, and acquisition documentation
- Maintain due diligence trackers, legal status reports, transaction dashboards, and acquisition pipelines
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with advocates, consultants, architects, developers, brokers, housing societies, landowners, financial institutions, and government authorities
- Follow up on legal documents, approvals, compliances, and consultant deliverables
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders
Project Management & Administrative Support
- Maintain legal records, digital data rooms, document repositories, and transaction files
- Prepare Minutes of Meetings (MoMs), progress reports, action trackers, and follow-up notes
- Assist in preparing management reports, presentations, transaction summaries, and strategic documentation

- Extension: Internship may be extended based on performance
