Position
Associate Corporate Counsel, AWS Legal
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. degree from a recognized Indian university.
- Associate Membership (ACS) with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) along with a valid current membership.
- Minimum 3+ years of legal experience.
- Experience in a combination of corporate law firm and in-house legal roles.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Experience in legal compliance review and interpretation of Indian laws and regulations in a business context.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a high-growth technology company.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, or cloud computing services.
- Understanding of intellectual property, competition, and privacy laws.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Support AWS operations in India by combining legal advisory and company secretarial functions.
- Provide strategic legal guidance to sales, marketing, product, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure corporate governance compliance and oversee regulatory filings.
- Manage board meetings, resolutions, and statutory compliances under the Companies Act and related laws.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and legal documentation.
- Handle legal and compliance obligations relating to AWS business operations.

Duration
- Fixed-term role for a period of 3 years.
