Principal Associate / Associate Partner – Corporate and M&A (Transactions)
Eligibility Criteria
- Five-year law degree from a reputed university with a strong academic record
- LLM, CA, or CS qualifications will be an added advantage
- 4 to 9 years of experience in the corporate practice of a reputed law firm
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
- Private equity and venture capital transactions
- Joint ventures and strategic corporate transactions
- Corporate and commercial advisory
- Regulatory and compliance matters
- Client negotiations and end-to-end transaction management
- Mentoring junior associates and contributing to business development
Key Skills Required
- Strong understanding of corporate laws, including:
- Indian Contract Act, 1872
- Companies Act, 2013
- Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999
- Competition Act, 2002
- SEBI laws and RBI regulations
- Labour and industrial laws
- Data protection laws
- Legal Metrology Act, 2010
- Excellent drafting, analytical, research, and client management skills
- Ability to independently handle assignments under strict timelines
