Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess:
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university
- Strong experience in litigation and dispute resolution
- Prior experience in a corporate legal department with significant litigation exposure
- Experience in handling large litigation portfolios
- Expertise in coordinating with external counsels
- Exposure to white-collar crime and competition law matters
- Familiarity with legal technology platforms, contract lifecycle tools, and AI-based legal solutions
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Litigation and Dispute Management
- Manage civil, criminal, consumer, recovery, arbitration, and regulatory litigation across jurisdictions
- Formulate litigation strategies with senior management and external counsel
- Draft and review pleadings, affidavits, writ petitions, appeals, and settlement documents
- Monitor case progress and maintain litigation dashboards and MIS reports
Contract Management and Legal Documentation
- Draft, review, and negotiate leases, vendor contracts, NDAs, MOUs, and settlement agreements
- Conduct property due diligence and title verification
- Assess legal and contractual risks
Business Advisory
- Provide legal advice to sales, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, and support teams
- Handle legal escalations involving dealers, customers, vendors, and regulators
- Prepare legal opinions and management presentations
External Counsel Management
- Appoint and supervise law firms and advocates across jurisdictions
- Negotiate fees and manage legal spend
Team Leadership
- Mentor Assistant Managers and Executives
- Develop SOPs, templates, and process improvements
- Promote effective use of technology and AI in legal operations
