Position Title
Associate Advocate – Trademark
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. (3-year or 5-year course) or LL.M.
- Post-Qualification Experience (PQE): 1 to 5 years
- Candidates with prior experience in trademark prosecution and enforcement will be preferred
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Conducting trademark searches and rendering legal opinions
- Filing and prosecuting trademark applications
- Managing and updating client trademark portfolios
- Advising clients on intellectual property laws and practices in India
- Drafting legal opinions on trademark-related issues
- Preparing Notices of Opposition, Counter Statements, Replies, and Rejoinders
- Handling opposition, cancellation, and rectification proceedings
- Drafting affidavits and supporting documents
- Attending show cause hearings before the Trademark Registry
- Managing IP filings, prosecution, renewals, and deadlines
