About the Project
The internship is part of a research project on One Nation One Election (ONOE), a significant constitutional and political reform proposal currently under consideration in India. The project seeks to examine comparative international models of synchronized elections and assess how such systems are legally and institutionally implemented across different jurisdictions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law students enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs
- Recent law graduates
- Candidates with strong legal reasoning and analytical skills
- Excellent legal writing and structuring abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in constitutional law, political economy, and governance reforms
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong research and synthesis skills
- Capacity to analyze comparative political and legal systems
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Selected interns will be responsible for:
- Conducting country-specific comparative legal research
- Analyzing constitutional provisions, statutes, case law, and policy reports
- Mapping practical implementation frameworks against legal systems
- Preparing analytical notes and comparative policy outputs
- Developing insights relevant to India’s ONOE framework
