Eligibility Criteria
Essential Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Law (B.A. LL.B / LL.B)
- Knowledge of Criminal Law, Administrative Law, and Constitutional Law
- Demonstrable research experience in criminal law or allied fields
Desirable Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Law
- Experience in legislative drafting
- Experience in cross-jurisdictional legal research
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic review and analysis of industrial and regulatory frameworks
- Undertake doctrinal and comparative legal research
- Assist in drafting reports, amendment proposals, and draft legislation
- Prepare research briefs and analytical memoranda
- Coordinate with project investigators and stakeholders
- Contribute to allied research activities

About the Project
The project titled “De-criminalisation of Industrial Laws in the State of Chhattisgarh” focuses on reviewing and rationalising industrial regulatory frameworks. It aims to identify provisions where criminal liability can be replaced with civil or administrative mechanisms and to recommend reforms for a more efficient and investor-friendly legal environment .
