Legal Job Opportunity (Senior Legal Counsel – Civil & Criminal)
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B / LL.M from a recognized university
- Mandatory enrollment with the Bar Council
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in civil and criminal litigation along with corporate advisory
- Strong knowledge of Indian laws including labor laws, IPC, and commercial laws
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Handle all civil and criminal legal matters of the organization
- Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and other legal forums
- Draft, review, and vet agreements, contracts, legal notices, and other documents
- Manage litigation and coordinate with external law firms
- Provide legal advice on labor laws, employment issues, and compliance
- Handle disputes related to employees, fraud, misconduct, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and central laws
- Liaise with government authorities, police, and regulatory bodies
- Support HR and management in disciplinary proceedings
- Maintain legal documentation and records
