Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified to practice law in India
- 10 to 16 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Strong experience in corporate/commercial law, preferably at a top-tier law firm or multinational company
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex cross-border transactions
- Strong academic background with excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and engage with senior stakeholders
- Interest in technology, fintech, and payments industry
- International legal experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of antitrust, anti-bribery, privacy, and intellectual property laws (preferred)
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Advising business teams on deal structures and legal strategies
- Acting as a strategic legal advisor to the India & South Asia business teams
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial, marketing, technology, and partnership agreements
- Managing cross-border legal and commercial transactions
- Providing risk-based legal advice on contractual and commercial matters
- Collaborating with global and regional legal teams across Visa
- Supporting business operations while ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation
- Handling multiple projects in a fast-paced fintech environment
